Full Details About Our Walks
WARNING: It's very important that you are on our
newsletter so we can advise you of important updates to advertised events.
Please note our walks always
operate 'rain hail or shine', ...so far it's only sporting events that stop
us. Please always allow extra time
after the walks to allow for social networking.

Walk the area where both the
English and French landed back in 1788
La Perouse Historical and Scenic Social Walk
Only $19 per person - please pay at the start of the walk.
All ages are invited

Optional for the Early Birds
Only Spot: for those who arrive early, we’ll be doing a
short walk through the La Perouse Museum (this is priced at $5.50
and paid directly to the museum) this will give you an overview of
memorabilia from Sydney’s early days, it’s a very interesting place.

Starting Point:
Outside The Boatshed Café Anzac Pde (near Endevour St) La
Perouse – 12.45PM for a 1PM start. You’ll easily spot me in my
Sydney Walking Cap.
About This Walk: We will be seeing the location where both the
first fleet and where the French landed in January 1788. There is a
lot of interesting walk tracks in the area and we’ll be getting a
glimpse of what things were like during the early days of settlement
on Australia. Along this walk we’ll be stopping at a several spots
and taking in the views.
After the walk concludes (About 3PM-ish) we’ll convene at a
lovely café in the area to continue conversation and networking.
Please bring your cameras, wear comfortable footwear, bring a hat,
and have some water in your carry bag to drink.
Nearest Transport: Almost all the buses to get there leave
from Circular Quay and clearly have “La Perouse” marked on them.
Bus numbers L94 or 394 or X94 as
La Perouse is the last stop. You can also get a La Perouse bus as
they go past the Museum Rail Station CNR of Liverpool and Elizabeth
Sts (that’s next to Hyde Park).

10 minutes before
our start time.
