for those who arrive early, we’ll be doing a short walk through the La Perouse Museum (this is priced at $5.50 and paid directly to the museum) this will give you an overview of memorabilia from Sydney’s early days, it’s a very interesting place.

About This Walk
: We will be seeing the location where both the first fleet and where the French landed in January 1788. There is a lot of interesting walk tracks in the area and we’ll be getting a glimpse of what things were like during the early days of settlement on Australia. Along this walk we’ll be stopping at a several spots and taking in the views.

After the walk concludes (About 3PM-ish) we’ll convene at a lovely café in the area to continue conversation and networking.

Please bring your cameras, wear comfortable footwear, bring a hat, and have some water in your carry bag to drink.

Nearest Transport: Almost all the buses to get there leave from Circular Quay and clearly have “La Perouse” marked on them. Bus numbers L94 or 394 or X94 as La Perouse is the last stop. You can also get a La Perouse bus as they go past the Museum Rail Station CNR of Liverpool and Elizabeth Sts (that’s next to Hyde Park).

*Please aim to be at the walks at least 10 minutes before our start time.
